Donation Drive for School Children
The enchanting hillside of Idukki is one of the resourceful districts in Kerala. This land provides enough resource which we need to provide as much assistance. Of many successful campaigns and events happened so far Vishwas Foundation’s common goal is to enhance and enrich living standards of people, and so this donation drive-18 also served best to maintain the goal.
7th May 2018, marked an eventful day in the campaign calendar of Vishwas Foundation. Donation Drive-2018 with an aim to donate 3000 notebooks and 600 umbrellas had a much helpful impact on the children of Idukki.
The donation drive was carried out along at the inaugural ceremony of three major tourism projects proposed in Idukki. The inaugural ceremony was rich by the presence of many socio-political eminent dignitaries of Idukki.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Hon. Tourism and Devaswom minister Mr. Kadakampilly Surendran, Hon. Idukki M.P Adv. Joice George was the chief guest and Smt. E.S Bijimol, Hon. M.L.A of Peermade presided the ceremony happened at Vandi Periyar, Idukki.
Donation Drive was officially inaugurated by Hon. Minister by handing over notebooks and umbrellas to the village representative of Vandiperiyar. Hon. M.L.A regarded our representatives on the dais with warm appreciation. 200 umbrellas and 1000 notebooks were distributed to the children of Vandiperiyar Village.
The second venue of this lively day was at Panchalimedu, Idukki. Hon. Devaswom minister inaugurated the first phase of Panchalimedu tourism construction activities. Hon. M.L.A E.S. Bijimol handed over 200 umbrellas and 1000 notebooks to the Panchayath President of Peruvanthanam Village. The ceremony was rich in participation by the natives of the village.
Donation Drive-18 had its next venue at Elappara, the inaugural ceremony of Elappara wayside amenity center. The construction activity of the center was also inaugurated by Hon. Tourism Minister. Hon. M.L.A presided the function and Hon. Idukki M.P Adv. Joice George was the chief guest of the ceremony. The venue premises were thickly packed with an energetic crowd. Hon. M.P entrusted the distribution of 200 umbrellas and 1000 notebooks to Panchayath President of Elappara Village.
Vishwas Foundation undertook various initiatives so far and everything had a core value of trustworthy and compassion this eventful day possessed an endearing day to the natives of Idukki.
